Reduced Dues for Financial Hardship or Permanent and Total Disability:

Full, Sustaining, Academic and Associate Members who cannot pay their regular MPA dues because of financial hardship may pay $79 and continue as members.  Hardship is defined as having an available income of less than $18,000 in the previous year and an expected income of less than $18,000 in the year for which dues are being billed. MPA may authorize reduced dues for persons who experience financial hardship due to unemployment, family leave, and disability, among other reasons. This option is not available for more than five years, for members who are reinstating (i.e., for dues owed for prior years), or for new members paying their initial dues.

Reduced dues apply only to MPA dues and not to any other fees. Permanently and totally disabled members may utilize reduced dues each year; please notify MPA of disability status.  To request reduced dues for financial hardship or permanent and total disability, contact the MPA office at [email protected] or 952-928-4657.
