Forensic Division Chair: Brie Pileggi, Psy.D., LP, ABPP

The Forensic Psychology Division is dedicated to supporting psychologists who apply psychological knowledge and skills to legal matters, and thereby it is dedicated to benefiting those they serve (such as the courts, individuals involved with the courts, and psychology students).  Such support takes the form of sharing research and practical knowledge as psychologists working in various settings and various courts, knowledge of the law and our interface with it, resources, and ideas.  This sharing occurs through professional development opportunities such as continuing education formal presentations, informal presentations and discussion of topics, and networking.  We hope that the activities of the Forensic Division will generate enthusiasm for this field of psychology among our student members, as well as promote high levels of professionalism, ethical practice, and integrity in our work, including a commitment to socio-cultural diversity, equity, and inclusion.
