School Based Therapist

Temp Social Work is seeking Licensed Therapists at their elementary schools. The ideal candidate will not only need to meet the standard requirements of education and being licensed in one of the following: LMFT, LICSW, LP, or LPCC. They will need to be able to commit long term to possibility of hire.

Primary Responsibilities

A. Provide individual, family, group, and in home therapy to youth during school year and through the summer months
B. Complete diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, CASIIs, SDQs, and other documentation including insurance information within required timelines
C. Provide in service trainings to school staff
D. Provide referrals to navigators for MN Sure when families do not have health insurance
E. Collaborate for care coordination with school staff and other involved professionals
F. Attends school meeting (IEP meetings, Student Intervention team, etc.)
G. Provide consultation to parents and school staff
H. Offer mental health crisis intervention for student clients
